A study conducted by psychologists at Harvard University.

In a study published in the journal Science in 2010, researchers used experience sampling methodology to investigate the frequency and duration of mind-wandering, which includes daydreaming. Participants were randomly signaled at different times throughout the day and asked about their current thoughts and activities. The study found that on average, participants reported mind-wandering approximately 46.9% of the time. Although the study did not provide specific time durations, it indicates that a significant portion of people’s waking hours is spent in a mind-wandering state. While there is no specific minimum time mentioned, it suggests that even short episodes of daydreaming or mind-wandering occur frequently throughout the day. It’s important to note that daydreaming can occur in brief bursts or last for more extended periods, and the frequency and duration can vary among individuals. The minimum time spent daydreaming would likely be a matter of seconds or a few minutes during these episodes.

If we were to utilize this time in our work, the progress would vary or be confirmed. Leaving daydreams or spending less time on them can include value in our lives. If we spend less time in our beautiful imaginary world, we can attain success in the real world. Similarly, if we relinquish our desires in this world, we can achieve success in the hereafter. In conclusion, living in this world is more important than our imaginary world in terms of success. However, life in the hereafter holds greater significance than this world. Morally, daydreaming or an imaginary world is not a reality. Moreover, you know what? This life is also like a dream, as far as my belief is concerned.

Open your eyes, for this world is only a dream.
